The short version
- No cookies, no analytics, no trackers, no local storage. Every file on this site, including the fonts, pictures and video, is served from this domain.
- Your browser contacts no third party. Vote counts on the ideas board are fetched by our server from GitHub, so GitHub never sees your visit.
- Ideas and votes live on GitHub. When you suggest or vote on an idea you do it on GitHub, under your GitHub account and GitHub's privacy policy. We only read each idea's public title and vote count.
Who is responsible
Ship at Midnight is run by Shreyas Sawant, an independent developer. Contact for anything about privacy: shreyassaw@gmail.com.
What this website processes
- Request logs. Our host, Vercel Inc. (United States), records the IP address, user agent, time and page of each request to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and keeps them for a short period, never more than 30 days. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure website.
We do not sell or share personal data, run advertising, or send email to anyone from this site.
International transfers
Vercel processes request logs in the United States. Vercel participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and offers Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers that need them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California law) you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data about you, object to processing, or complain to your data protection authority. Email us and we will answer within 30 days (45 days under California law). To remove an idea you posted, close or delete the issue on GitHub, or ask us to. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by California law.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16.
